I'm off the old stone farmhouse entrance. I rarely go to the grille. I should also add that sprints data service for me has improved within the last month. It is now almost on par with my slow DSL. Even my slowdowns have all but vanished.

this is good info since i have a condo at Mahagony Run also and when i was down there in Dec. I was thinking of adding internet access. But I found since I am only there a couple times a year and my wife is only there four of five times a year. I found the best thing for me was to go to the club house and use their internet. They do not charge for it.

I still have my mifi device. I don't know what to do with it. With the latest pricing changes they took away all value to it. I know use my built in hotspot on my sprint phone and that's been working fine. Truthfully, I did find it worked okay in certain regions. Unfortunately, not very many regions. :(

Virgin Mobile Broadband, must be the worst internet anyone would wish for.I bought the MiFi 2200,and took the $40 dollar a month plan, not 19.95 or 29.95,$40 dollars a month.

I thought as i travel,to have a portable internet connection, would be perfect for me,And how wrong
i was.
You switch the unit on,and then boot up your laptop, and the wifi kicks in and you have internet, you
check the signal and it informs you on 5 bars that it is excellent, then you learn how excellent it is,click on
your browser,it can take two to five minutes to connect,Checking your emails is another story.

I wanted to watch my bosses Company speech, the length was 27 mins 13 seconds,it took me 4hours
and 26 minutes to watch, you get about 15 seconds, then you can wait twenty minutes for it to reload
and you can watch another thirty seconds, its crazy.

Then,i wanted to download through my laptop, some business apps for my cellphone, some apps are
82mbs,some are more, now remember you are paying for megabytes,so i down load the app,you watch it loading, for hours, and then maybe five megabytes to go,you lose internet connection, everything, your download is ruined, the webpage is gone,it takes ten minutes to reboot the
MiFi unit.to get it working, and then you have to start again, but you have just lost the seventy five megabytes you have downloaded, and then have to download it again, this happens very often.

Now i use the computer a lot,and the virgin policy is,$40 dollars a month unlimited, but should you use
over 5gbs,they will reduce the signal power at there discretion, and this is just terrible, one month alone
i paid $160 dollars,for internet through virgin,$160 dollars.

I emailed Virgin, asking could they give me a plan, that would benefit my internet use on the road,i got a response, that advised me to contact another department, and then another, and so on.And should you
call Virgin Mobile Broadband, please be prepared to wait a minimum of an hour, for a response, and that comes from the far east.

To conclude,i am now searching for another source of mobile internet,i am so angry with this, and the more you use it,the more frustrating it becomes,i have put up with this long enough now,and enough
is enough.

It's definitely the weather channel thing. I went to task manager and found the DESKTO~1.exe file, killed the process, then deleted the weather channel folder found in the Program Files folder.
